Day 1 TOKYO
Visit
Tokyo Tower Observatory for panoramic view of
city and Tokyo Bay. Follow with traditional Japanese
"Tea ceremony" at Happoen-garden. Also
visit National Diet Building. Then take ride on
sightseeing boat along Sumida River.
Day 2 TOKYO
Visit Imperial Palace Plaza; Meiji Shrine
-the largest of Japan's Shinto shrines; and Askusa
Kannon Temple as well as its bustling arcade of
souvenir shops and little stands. Check out Ginza
area in evening.
Day
3 TOKYO/ KYOTO
Transfer to Tokyo Station to board Shinkansen (Bullet
Train) to Kyoto. Self-transfer to Rihga Royal Hotel
(5-star, walking distance to Kyoto Station). Visit
Nijo Castle and Old Imperial Palace (dating back
to 1855 when Kyoto was the capital at that time).
Follow with visit to Kinkakuji (Temple of the Gold
Pavilion), and Heinan Shrine & Garden and Sanjusangendo
Hall, which is famous for its 1,001 impressive Buddha
statues.
Day 4 KYOTO/ NARA/ TOKYO
Visit Nara, Japan's capital city from 710 to
784 A.D., a period when Chinese culture was brought
to Japan and adapted. Tour features Todaiji Temple
with The Great Buddha, Kasuga Shrine, and Deer Park.
Transfer to station to board Shinkansen back to
Tokyo.
Day 5 TOKYO/NEXT DESTNATION
Transfer to airport for flight to next destination.
