Day 1 HANOI
AM: Escorted private excursion
to Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minhn, the One Pillar Pagoda, the
Museum of Army and the Temple of Literature.
PM: Private excursion to Sword Lake and Ngoc Son
Temple.
EVENING: Enjoy a welcoming Vietnam style banquet
at a traditional restaurant. Dinner accompanied by water-puppet
show.
Day
2 HANOI/HALONG
All-day private drive to Halong. Stop at pottery village
of Dong Trieu en route. As UNESCO's world scenic site,
Halong Bay is the location of over 3,000 spectacular islands
and is one of the scenic wonders of the world. Arrive
at Halong Bay in the evening. Private transfer to Saigon
Halong (Newly opened 4-star villa; closed to city center).
Day 3 HALONG BAY EXCURSION
AM: Tour to Cat Ba Island by hydrofoil (a type
of motorboat). Upon arrival, move to a wooden boat to
explore the best part of Cat Ba Island and Halong Bay
through the limestone islets.
Enjoy Seafood lunch on board the boat.
PM: Return to Cat Ba Island to catch the hydrofoil.
Transfer to Hai Phong. Follow with private return drive
to Hanoi. Transfer to Sofitel Metropole Hotel.
Day 4 HANOI/HUE
AM: Private transfer to airport for flight to Hue.
Airport reception/private transfer to hotel. Escorted
private tour to Tomb of Khai Dinh.
PM: Private boat excursion along Fragrance River
to Thien Mu Pagoda. Private drive to Imperial Musuem and
Dong Ba Market.
EVENING: Cruise on Fragrance River. Dinner accompanied
by traditional cultural show.
Day 5 BACH MA NATIONAL PARK EXCRUSION
All-day escorted private tour to Bach Ma National
Park (30 miles). The beautiful Back Ma National Park is
known as the "forgotten paradise". Trekking
tour to Hai Vuong Dai, to see the fantastic views all
the way to the ocean and visit Do Quyuen waterfall. Return
to Hue in evening.
Day 6 HO CHI MINH CITY
AM: Private transfer to airport for flight to Ho
Chi Minh City. Airport reception/private transfer to hotel.
Private drive to Cu Chi Tunnels, an amazing network of
underground tunnels used during the Vietnam War.
PM: Visit a former Palace of the president, the
Jade Emperor Pagoda, and the Ben Thanh markets.
EVENING: Farewell dinner cruise on Saigon River.
